    The government has …
The government has so much potential to foster good. Why are laws not being repealed and others not instated to foster the formation of pritate , not for profit, health care producing companys. I would have loved to have paid into a company all my life so that I would have access to health care that works. A health care that shielded us from the modern pleagues of cancer and AIDS instead of helping the spread of it. I read of a bunch of drug makers that knowingly spread AIDS and hep clotting

    @milkmandan77 You …
@milkmandan77 You are correct but it gets worse.
Many think the ‘Birthers” are nuts but
in the last month Michelle and 2 Kenyan officials have mentioned Kenya as BeHO’s country of birth. I fear he IS NOT eligible and they WANT him thrown out. WHY? Biden part of invalid ticket, Pelosi complicent, Clinton is illegal Sec State…. There is NO Constitutional provision for this; IE Contitutional Crisis requiring Constitutional Convention, WHERE EVERYTHING IS ON THE TABLE… EVEN THE BILL OF RIGHTS!

    this bill creates …
this bill creates incentive for individuals AND employers to drop their current private healh plans, bc the gvmt fine is CHEAPER than paying the monthly premium to a private insurance company.

private insurance cos. will then go out of business, placing the power of health insurance entirely into the hands of gvt.

this will also displace over a million workers.

BOTTOM LINE: the obama/pelosi regime is MARXIST COMMUNIST, and are intentionally creating a crisis in this country. PERIOD.

    How general welfare …
How general welfare means in its nature positive for all. It’s not personally for my welfare while it may be for yours.

“General Welfare”. First section of text shown on the screen. I’m sorry, but “General Welfare” can support a public option and all regulation

I love how democrats are for the “Public Option” yet the majority of the public don’t know how to run a country.

    Well over 10-20k …
Well over 10-20k people flee to America a year to escape their poverty and living conditions. That of itself makes my statement very true. In your attempt to make believe you had a point , you jumped from the hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands. Thats a of a deduction. If anything, your point was a false idea til you googled real numbers, but without taking into account the numbers of refugees and illegals fleeing into our country, which still leaves you grasping for truth and facts

G0dspelronin (2 weeks ago)” It baffles me that very few people flee to Canada for their perfect and free system ”

I was pointing out that your statement and belief is false

    We were talking …
We were talking medical reasoning here buddy, not personal reasons. People having been coming and going from America from before we were born, and will do say long after we are dead. Whatever your point unto yourself is, No, I cannot grasp it. Be happy that you know what you are talking about. I have contemplated leaving this great country too, but not for medical (health care) reasons. I am looking more toward opportunity than free anything.

    YOu don’t get it …
YOu don’t get it because you can’t grasp it
they are leaving USA for good
they know what is coming and do not want to be apart of it.
many go to Asia and many go to British commonwealth nations .
not for medical treatment but to stay for ever.

    I could believe …
I could believe those numbers for medical reasons, but the wealthy are always let in to Canada, as are they around the world. The wealthy have gone to other countries for alternative medicine which is well documented, but not Canada as the place for cutting edge care. Its usually an Eastern country small town type scenario though…

between 10k and 20k try to get into Canada many are refused.

they go to nations all around the world

    (November 5, 2010 - 10:28 am)

    Never seen those …
Never seen those numbers buddy. So what you are saying as that 100k Americans that are wealthy leave to Canada for the free healthcare? Or do they leave to live in a new place since they are wealthy and can do that? I have known many wealthy people who love to travel the world and live in Spain and Italy, but it was not for healthcare reasons. The wealthy have access to whatever health care they choose. I think you may have misunderstood my comment concerning the healthcare issue.

    GOdspelronin

    Are …
    GOdspelronin

    Are you kidding me ?
100,000 of the richest and best educated Americans leave every year for good.

Canada has a back log of thousands of Americans each year clawing their way like Mexicans to get in.
you should look up things before speaking about them

When will American get into their thick heads the Constitution is a piece of paper that was abolished when Canada and England burned down the congress in the war of 1812.

    Here is a novel …
Here is a novel thought. If you want professional medical service, either pay for it or buy insurance. Most folks have cell phones and new cars, yet think someone one else should pay health bills. Just a thought. And, no. I do not intend on getting a flu shot just because insurance pays for it.
