Can President elect Barack reverse Bush executive orders right away when he takes office?

These executive orders allowing more water pollution by farms, land auctions by the Bureau of Land Management so close to national parks such as Arches National Park in Utah and letting power companies increase emissions? Also, is it time for new laws in regard to the Bureau of Land Management to protect our Wilderness areas and wildlife? especially wild horses!

most likely obama will do the things you suggest, of course it means higher prices and hardship for people but at least a few mange eaten useless mustangs can continue to use valuable land.

Yeah he should get rid of all of those executive orders that help keep the cost of produce and energy costs down.

    Yes, pretty much.

But he can’t reverse things that have already been done. If land has been auctioned off, he won’t be able to un-auction it.

Yes, and he plans to do that–he has already stated this.

EVERY outgoing President does this, and EVERY incoming President does this–it’s a time-honored tradition, so to speak.

    Yes he can.

Bush immediately eased restrictions allowing more arsenic in our drinking water.

    Yes, he can.

But executive orders should not be used in place of the natural order of lawmaking – passing in the congress and senate first. Executive orders should only be used in pretense of an emergency.

President Barack Obama will be more able to change things because unlike Bush, he is the same party (democrat) as the House and Senate majorities.

He sure can. But issuing new orders to replace the previous ones you just mentioned will only increase the cost of living and put more pressure on our fragile economy.

It depends on when the order was written. Anything done prior to May 1, 2008 by law he cannot just reverse, anything after that date he can.
