Do all presidential executive orders have to be approved by Congress?

So basically the president can do whatever the hell he wants? Sounds like a dictatorship…

Ha Ha some of you people crack me up, the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. Executive Order does not get or need Congressional approval , hence the word executive. duh.

    No executive orders have to be approved by congress.

    Executive orders are not approved by Congress. They are E X E C U T I V E orders, not legislative.

    Yes you got that right. Did you know that President Bush wrote 1962 executive orders. So far Obama has over turn only 156.

    None, and I lost count but last I looked Obama did indeed make 27 dictatorship decisions( oh sorry meant executive orders). Didn’t mean to offend the P.C. police out there…my bad.

    it doesn’t have to be approved by congress but congress can overturn executive orders.

    Executive Orders do not require Congressional approval. However, Congress may challenge whether an Order exceeds the powers of the executive branch as defined by the Constitution
