Is there any websites that give u free legal advice?

Im looking for a website where I can ask for legal advice and get answers from a lawyer for absolutley free. Everyone I go to says they are free but when I go to ask my question they ask for a credit card.

in the US….NO

you can read, investigate, study, and learn a lot on the Internet but legal "advice" is paid for…….

there are simply to many variables, changes in situations , and unforeseen circumstances to get accurate, reliable legal advice without meeting face to face to discuss every possible scenario and look at ALL the relevant facts in any given case…………….

and do you really want to count on legal advice that is free?

I’ve been looking for ages too. I have just found this web site which is free. I have asked for a call back. I am expecting then to call me back in the morning. They also sent me an email to confirm it. Hope it is of some use to you.

i always just find a local lawyer and ask them questions…they will usually answer as many questions as you have especially if they see a case in it. just keep calling until you find someone that will answer you…

For a lawyer to handle a case, they need all the facts which they need in person in most cases. If there are documents or other things, they need to review to give you an accurate answer.

Many lawyers will give you "1 free consultation" to see if you indeed need to hire a lawyer for your situation. But to do this, you have to schedule an appointment and sit down in person with the lawyer.

    good luck

Yes! Avvo has a free legal Q&A forum where you can post a question – anonymously if desired – and receive a personalized response from a lawyer in your area.

    Hope this helps.
