Can I get legal action against a news network?

Like if I’m doing something that will make news networks want to cover the story; but I don’t want them to, can I get a law suit that will stop the news network station?
Lol. No I’m not going to do that. What im doing is fund raising (example : Political activist)

Nope. If you do something that news networks would regard as news, no lawsuit will prevent them from covering the story. You will be laughed out of court. As the judge will tell you, the First Amendment to the United States Constitution does not allow a court to order news people not to cover a story.

Depends on the circumstances – in some situations, they might need a waiver from you, in others, they might not. For example, if you decided to sit on a billboard for 80 hours to raise money, that is news and they can cover it and you can’t stop it. However, the folks on a show like COPs sign waivers.
