    I agree. Howard …

    One of the …
One of the arguments that this lady makes is that legalized online gambling allows kids to steal daddy’s credit card and run it up to the max to play poker online. Ok…well if little Johhny is stealing his dad’s credit card to do things he shouldn’t, then that is bad parenting, which has nothing to do with online poker. She should be worried about teaching kids values that stop them from stealing their dad’s credit cards, instead of shoving her conservative agenda down our throats.

    This is funny …
This is funny because this whole debate really goes against what conservatives like me believe, that the government should stay out of your face and respect your privacy. This is what conservativism is all about (except for a few issues). I’m a conservative and I’m all for internet gaming. It’s the parents job to control their kids. Now all you liberals, I want you to apply your desire for the government to keep out of your privacy to other issues.

    Now this is just …
Now this is just bullshit. That just has an ideological problem with gambling…she doesn’t think it’s a vice that is not good for America. Well you! This is a country founded upon the principle of individual liberty. Poker sites can institute plenty of parental controls to keep kids off of poker sites, and that can be legislated if that really is her issue. I’m tired of these conservatives trying to create a wholesome land for everybody.

    it’s the parent’s …
it’s the parent’s problem not to give their kid their credit card. how low is her IQ?

I love how she just …
I love how she just grins and shakes her head when Howard is slamming info right into her fat hear. I’d kick this conservative right in her ovaries. Howard came off really well in this interview.

    they’re worried …
they’re worried about kids being able to lose tons of money online and get addicted to it. Isn’t underage drinking a problem in this country? Let’s just outlaw alcohol. Oh… wait…

    I wish I could have …
I wish I could have been in that guy’s square. We have amazing counter-points to everything she said but he just couldn’t think of them. She’s talking about crime but what good does pushing poker players underground do? There is a demand, where there is a demand there will always be a supply. All it means is that we will all have to go in Joe’s basement for our poker fix where yes, crime will be more prevalent since it can’t be regulated.

    Prohibition DOES NOT WORK.

    Why do anti-online …
Why do anti-online poker people always speak so much better in these debates than the pro-poker people. We are often not very well represented.

    She has a point. …
She has a point. Every time I play online poker, it results in me gaining a strong desire to get a prostitute.

If anyone too young to gamble online is getting ahold of their parents’ credit cards without them knowing, there are more issues in that family than just gambling.

    First off all poker …
First off all poker involves more that just getting lucky.

Second, it’s stupid to say that poker is causing children to get a hold of credit cards and running up the bill, the issue here is about “children getting hold of credits cards (FULLSTOP)!!!” there’s your problem, not poker.

Sorry lady, I play poker and I’m a fairly consistant winner on Internet Poker.

Winning money is not a crime!!!!!
