THE CORPORATION [17/23] Unsettling Accounts

17. Journalists Jane Akre and Steve Wilson were fired by the Fox News television station they work for after refusing to change their investigative report on Posilac, a Bovine Growth Hormone (BGH) made by Monsanto. Their research documents potential health and safety problems of drinking milk treated with the synthetic hormone, but threatened with legal action from Monsanto, Fox wants the negative effects played down. The court eventually throws out Akre’s whistle blower lawsuit after deciding that the media is allowed to lie.

I don’t drink it that much. Lately, I have been trying rice milk. In general, I get my calcium from vitamins; although, I still uses full fat cream for my coffee. I’m doomed!
I appreciate the info about hexane. I’m just curious, would that cause flatulence?

    Other news …
Other news organizations probably have a slant one way or the other. I’m pretty sure that’s a fact. But in this case, that is NOT the point. The point is that Monsanto used products that they KNEW had negative health implications and Fox News covered it up. Nothing else needs to be said.

    Again, I appreciate it.

And you’re also already going in to the whole Left/Right thing. Stay with me here, we are both Americans we’re on the same team. Man ppl on the right instantly have to start dividing everybody, then they wonder why so many, like myself have left the Repub side to become Independents.

And making up stories, exagerrating mole hills into mountains, and then beating one’s chest bcuz nobody else reported on it is not reporting news.

    Bias and dishonesty …
Bias and dishonesty are synonymous. There is very little, if any truth in the MSM. The truths they do recount represent only a part of the truth. The biggest lies are often told in silence. That is the left wing fascists’ specialty.
